Our People Are Our Mountain presents Xaraasi Xanne: Crossing Voices.

We’ll be at the Atlas Cinema - a community cinema - alongside Randa Toko on Saturday 15th June at 1pm to host the screening of this powerful 2022 documentary by Bouba Touré & Raphaël Grisey that traces the story of Somankidi Coura - an agricultural cooperative founded by West African migrant workers in 1977 - through personal archives, song and radio.

Exploring migration, land and post-colonial futures, the film honours grassroots resilience and radical self-determination.
