Birthday celebration: Black History Month Special
Saturday 3 October from 12-6pm
Join us for our third Earthstrong at the garden making, learning, storytelling, food and resting together. We’ll be exploring African-diasporic stories, cultural memory and creative expression through food, textile practices, conversation and collective activity.
Sessions include:
Food as ritual panel talk: with Safiya Robinson @sisterwoman and Eyram Dzotsi @gardenofafruika moderated by Chala June @chala.gram
Mutual aid bakes sale by Carol @carolputhussery and Jennie @smellyoatmilkbitch
Radical bunting making with Tallawah Smith @wovenradical
Natural indigo dyeing with Tanya Nonthando Wilson @tanyanwilson

Everyone is welcome. We encourage families and elders to come.
We’ve also created a few optional supporting tickets for those who are able to contribute. The mutual aid tickets £5-20 tickets will directly support a community member currently in need of support for serious medical issues.
