Join us for the first session of the 2026 Growers Club with community food practitioner Eyram Dzotsi, founder of Garden of Afruika. Our first session with Eyram is on Saturday 4th July in the garden from 11am - 2pm.
Eyram will guide us step by step through the preparation of Sancoche, a nourishing dish from his Dominican heritage, using seasonal ingredients grown in the garden and a recipe passed down from his aunty. The session will end with a shared meal round the table, offering a space to reflect, engage and share food stories.
Tickets are free and available only to BPOC. Please only reserve a ticket if you're confident you can attend as these workshops are often oversubscribed. We will operate a small waitlist. If you can no longer attend, please let us know at least 24–48 hours in advance so we can offer your place to someone else. It's disappointing to lose a space because of a no-show.
This workshop is part of our four-part 2026 BPOC Growers Club series. To give as many people as possible the opportunity to participate, please book a place on one of the four workshops only. Tickets go live each Monday at 7pm for the workshops in July. See the full programme listings here.
If you have any questions or access requirements to make us aware of ahead of the event - please email tanyawilson96@gmail.com
This session is supported by funding from the Black Food Fund.
We make an effort to keep our events free. If you would like to support our small organisation and the continuation of community programming, please click here to donate.
