T.O.O.L. SHED: Session 2

ยฃ0.00

From 11am-1.30pm at House of Annetta - 25 Princelet St, London E1 6QH

Session open to BPOC participants only

What if we were to consider liberation a practice of cultivation? What would happen if we understood our diverse practices as tools and our ideas as seeds? What (eco)systems are we building to replace colonial-capitalist ones? And what would the shape of an (infra)structure from which we store, develop, and transform these tools, seeds and ecosystems look like?

In this co-design workshop series, we will attempt to collectively respond to these questions.

Throughout October, we will meet in-person 4 times to intentionally imagine, discuss and manifest the garden shed of liberation. These sessions will be co-designed and facilitated by Yasmina Seifeddine and Resolve Collective and built for & through Earth Tenders.

Session 2: Unearthing

Continuing our conversations from the first session, we will use this time to notice, name and visualise the tools of our various practices and how we come to define tools across our work and experiences.

Note: These sessions will directly contribute to and inform a co-build with Resolve Collective at Earth Tenders, taking place on Fri 6 & Sat 7 and Fri 13 & Sat 14 Nov. You will learn practical build skills and create the envisioned structure. Each session will run from 10am-5pm with lunch provided. All co-design workshop participants will have first priority to join the co-build sessions.

Please contact us at info@earthtenders.co.uk if you have any access questions. Our site is woodchipped and unlevel in spaces, but near by the entrance we have a slopped wheelchair accessible toilet.

Please arrive to begin on time. The session will be hosted outside under a covered seating area. Please bring layers to keep warm and ensure you're comfortable!

Attendees will receive an email with additional information ahead of the event.

If you have already signed up for a previous session in this series then please do not repeat the form process again at the checkout - just enter your name and email.
