Join us on the land as we come together to celebrate cultural food traditions, through collective cooking, conversation and learning.
For our second session of the Growers Club we welcome you back as Eyram Dzotsi, founder of Garden of Afruika will guide us through the preparation of Fetri Detsi & Amorkple, an Ewe okra soup and fermented swallow from the Volta Region of Ghana. Using plant-based ingredients and seasonal produce grown in the garden, we will explore the flavours, traditions and cultural significance held within this dish. The session will end with a shared meal round the table, offering a space to reflect, engage and share food stories.
Tickets are free and live from Monday 6th July at 7pm. Get a ticket here.
This second session lands on Saturday 11 July at the garden from 11am - 2pm.
Eyram Dzotsi is the founder of Garden of Afruika (GOA), a London-based community-rooted food project, that hosts workshops, cooking clubs, supper clubs and community initiatives around the city, centring African-Caribbean plant-based food.
